I seriously nearly cried typing that up..
but sadly KS has lost a great friend.
Lynette will be dearly missed.
We hope to carry on her bloodline through the years as we hope to keep some of her foals and grandfoals at KS.

We Love You Girl.
R.I.P Sweet Lynette for you are dearly missed by many.

Story----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pyper woke up to the sound of the horses whinnying and galloping in the pastures. Her mornings were like always. Breakfast for herself and Dimitri, get dressed, go take care of the horses. She was use to it. She loved it.

She'd grown to love getting up early in the mornings to see her babies. She loved them all but she's always been very fond of the first of them all. Her mare Lynette. She would greet her each morning at the gate with a very loud nicker and she'd follow her down the fence until Pyper finally would open the gate and let her out to follow her around. The mare never strayed from her side. She was a loyal loving soul and had been there with Pyper through thick and then. She'd saved Pyper's life many times and Pyper had done the same in return. They were best friends of a sort. Pyper loved her with all her heart and Lynette returned that love completely. As Pyper reached the gate, she had a big smile on her face. She was prepared for some loud nickering and neighing but she got the total opposite. It was silent. Lynette was no where in sight. The smiled quickly left her face. She couldn't waste anymore time, she continued on to feed the others.

Once she was done feeding, she returned to the gate. Lynette was still not there. She began to worry about her. She called for her multiple times but the palomino mare never showed. Pyper began to fear the worse. The mare had gotten up in her years since Pyper had gotten her. She was in her twenties now. She'd began to have arthritis problems in her knees and hips which made it nearly impossible for anyone to ride her much. She'd gotten old and Pyper was just realizing how old she was. Pyper began to worry more than she ever had before. This mare was precious to her. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath and prepared for the worst as she opened the gate to the mare's pasture. She called out for her, hoping she would come over the top of the hill at full speed, happy to see her but it didn't happen. Pyper began to panic. Lynette had never done this before. She always came to her. The mares pasture was huge. She could be anywhere. Pyper stopped and took in a deep breath once more and looked around. Her head told her to keep looking everywhere but her heart. Her heart told her she knew exactly where to go.

Once Pyper reached the edge of the trees, her heart began to race. She knew Lynette was in there but she was scared of what she would find. Her heart shattered as she looked at her baby girl. She laid in the grass and dirt beneath the trees. Something had to be wrong with her. Pyper walked towards her slowly and bent down next to her gorgeous face. She stuck out her hand towards her mouth and Lynette began to lick at her gloves. Pyper began to cry at the sight of her beloved mare. She was so scared and she didn't know what to do.

One Hour Later.................................

Pyper ran her hand down the palomino mare's neck softly as she spoke to her. The mare had laid over on her side and was slowly as Dimitri and the vet sat and waited. Pyper was heartbroken. The vet put his hand on her shoulder.

"You know Pyper, it's best this way. She'd suffer if you let her continue to live like this. I know this is hard for you since she was your first official horse at your stables but this is for the best. She won't suffer any longer.."

Pyper bit her lip to hold back her sobbing as her watched her beloved mare's eyes begin to get heavy. She knew in her heart it was better this way but still her heart ached for her beloved horse. She ran her hand down her face softly and down her neck over and over again as her breaths began to slow down. Within minutes, Lynette took her last breath on Earth. Pyper's tears ran down her face falling onto the mares cream coat. She was heartbroken. She'd lost a wonderful horses and a great friend. Life at Korra Stables would never be the same.

Lynette's body was buried under the giant oak tree in her pasture and a large cross with her halter hanging from it still remains.

Just this moment. It's really sweet. I don't know many people that would go till the end with their horses, even if they're just RP :)

I've done this a couple of times with my real horses. It's very sad. I don't see why an RP horse would be any different^^ they both mean the same to me<3 I love them
